Ingredients You Need for Vanilla Dessert Cheese Spread [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

  • 6.3 ounces of silken tofu
  • 1/5 cup of non-dairy milk
  • 3 tablespoons sesame paste (tahini)
  • 1/3 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 teaspoon of maple syrup or another sweetener (optional)
  • 1 cup of fresh or reconstituted red currants

How to Prepare Vanilla Dessert Cheese Spread [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

  1. In a blender or using a hand blender, combine all ingredients, except currants, until smooth. Taste and add sweetener as desired.
  2. Gently fold in 3/4 cup of currants, then transfer to bowls and top with more fruit.

Notes

You can substitute currants with any fruit.
