Toasted and Salted Almond-Pecan Butter [Vegan]

1 small (4-ounce) jar

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almonds
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the almonds and pecans on the baking sheet and roast for 7 minutes. While they are still warm, use a kitchen towel to rub off and remove the skins.
  3. Place the roasted nuts in a food processor or blender, then process on high speed for 6 minutes. Add the salt and blend for 2 more minutes, or longer, until the consistency is creamy.
  4. Let cool, then store in an airtight container in the fridge.
