How to Prepare Raw Chocolate Orange Mousse Tart [Vegan, Gluten-Free]
- Line an 8-inch tart pan with parchment paper
- CRUST: Pulse all crust ingredients in a food processor until it breaks down into a crumbly sticky dough. Firmly press mixture into tart pan and place in the fridge or freezer to harden
- FILLING: Meanwhile, prepare the filling by adding all ingredients to the food processor or blender and blend for 1 minute or longer until super smooth
- ASSEMBLE: Pour the filling over the crust and return to the fridge. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until filling has set and become firm. Garnish with orange slices or shaved dark chocolate.







Such a easy and yummy recipe. And Raw enough for me.
This recipe is not "raw", because the recipe calls for Maple Syrup. Maple syrup is not a "raw" food!
Here is why…
For a food to be considered "raw", some experts state it can not be heated up past 104°F – 120°F. Maple Syrup is boiled at around 219°F when it is being processed!
