Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1 1/2 cups oats, ground
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil

Preparation

  1. Soak the dates in a little hot water for 10 minutes until soft. Discard water.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  3. Grind the oats in food processor, add tahini, coconut flakes, oil and dates, one by one until combined.
  4. Press into a form and bake for 10 to 20 minutes or until golden. Slice once cooled.
