However, the most important fact is that no animal has to get hurt in order to eat well. I went vegan in 2011 and it was the best choice I have ever made. First, I did it to save animals, but then later I realized how beneficial it was for both the environment and health. How to Prepare Matcha Cookies [Vegan]
- In a bowl, mix the flour with matcha powder tea, sugar, yeast, salt and chopped walnuts.
- Add the oil and a portion of the plant-based milk. Begin to mix adding little by little the milk and then knead until it forms a ball of elastic dough.
- Cover with a baking tray with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350ºF. Take portions of dough (more or less equal in size) in your hands, form balls and flatten them giving shape of cookies.
- Place the cookies on the baking tray and bake them for 15 minutes.
Hi there! Reading the ingredient list, it doesn’t say yeast but the instructions say to mix yeast. Does this recipe require yeast?
