Ingredients You Need for Chocolate Banana Pancakes [Vegan, Gluten-Free, Nut-Free, Soy-Free]

  • 1 banana (unripe)
  • 1 cup almond milk (or another non-dairy milk)
  • 1 1/2 cups (200 grams) gluten-free flour
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

How to Prepare Chocolate Banana Pancakes [Vegan, Gluten-Free, Nut-Free, Soy-Free]

  1. In a mixing bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder. And set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl mash the banana with a fork and then add the oil, sweetener of choice and milk. Mix to combine all the ingredients. (You can adjust the sweetness according to taste )
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients together. (you can adjust the thickens of the batter, if too thick add a tablespoon or two of milk).
  4. If you wanna make it more chocolaty add some chocolate chips in the batter. (optional)
  5. Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  6. Pour about 2 tablespoons per pancake and fry on one side until bubbles appear, then flip on the other side and fry for another 3 minutes.
  7. Serve them with melted chocolate and fresh berries or any other fruit of choice (optional)
