Ingredients You Need for Chinese Orange Cauliflower [Vegan]
How to Prepare Chinese Orange Cauliflower [Vegan]
To Make the Cooked Version:
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a large baking dish.
- Wash and dry cauliflower. Remove leaves and cut into 1-inch pieces.
- Place the cauliflower onto the baking dish and place into the oven for 20 minutes.
- While the cauliflower cooks, prepare the sauce. Place all of the ingredients into a high-speed blender and process until smooth.
- Remove the cauliflower from the oven and cool for 10 minutes. Place it into a large bowl (or keep it on your baking dish, your call), and pour over the sauce. Stir until all of the pieces are covered. Place back into the oven for 8 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
To Make the Raw Version:
- Wash and dry cauliflower. Remove leaves and cut into small pieces, not more than 1/2-inch.
- Prepare the sauce by blending all of the ingredients until smooth, then pour over the cauliflower. Allow it to marinate for about 2 hours. Place in into a dehydrator at 110°F for 2 hours, to allow it to soften a bit and warm through.
- Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
