Black Bean Jalapeño Hummus [Vegan]

  • 2 1/2 cups cooked black beans
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground chipotle, or to taste
  • Sea salt, to taste


  1. For the hummus, combine all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.  Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks in a sealed container.
