Black Bean Burgers With the Best Burger Sauce [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

Ingredients
For the Black Bean Burgers:
- 5 tablespoons of chia seeds with 3 tablespoons of water
- 2 cans of black beans, drained but not washed
- 1/2 cup and 1 tablespoon of gluten-free bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon of garlic granules
- 1 white onion, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon of chili flakes
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons of oil, for shallow frying
For the Burger Sauce:
- 3/4 cup and 1 tablespoon vegan mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of mustard
- 3 tablespoons of hot sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic granules
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Preparation
To Make the Burgers:
- Place the chia and water into a bowl, stir and leave to thicken/jellify. This creates a vegan egg.
- Place the black beans into a bowl and mash.
- Add in the breadcrumbs, garlic granules, minced onion, chili flakes, salt, and pepper and mix until combined.
- Form the mixture into burgers.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan
- Add in the burgers and cook for around 4-5 minutes on each side until golden in color.
To Make the Sauce:
- Place all of the ingredients into a blender and whizz up until combined.

I assume you add it to the mix? And it was too thick too, maybe 3 T of chia and 5T water is better? but as always every recipe I have tried here on this app has some mistake or missing step, always something wrong, drives me crazy.
You left out when to add the vegan egg.
I guess you fry it and put it on top of the burger, just under the lettuce and tomato…?
