Ingredients You Need for Apple Cranberry Crumble [Vegan]

Filling:

  • 10 pitted Deglet dates soaked in 1/4 cup water for 5 minutes
  • 3 medium granny smith apples cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries washed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Crumble:

  • 1 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 10 pitted Deglet dates soaked in 1/4 cup water for 5 minutes
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • dash salt

How to Prepare Apple Cranberry Crumble [Vegan]

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Add filling dates, water and lemon juice to food processor and process until smooth. Stir together apple slices, cranberries and date mixture and pour in a 10-inch pie pan.
  3. Add crumble dates and water to food processor and process until smooth. Stir together oats, cinnamon, salt and date mixture until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle oat mixture oven apple mixture. Bake for 40 minutes. Cool for 20-30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. If making ahead of time, dish can be stored in the refrigerator and then warmed in the oven prior to serving.
