We are excited to announce that we are launching a new service to help restaurants redesign their menus to include plant-based options!
What started as a humble website on veganism and plant-based food is now a thriving empire with a site full of helpful content, a popular plant-based recipe app, and a line of plant-based cookbooks. Now, we are collaborating with Celebrity Chef Elijah Brumfield to help restaurants tap into the current demand for more plant-based options.
Chef Elijah Brumfield said, “I’m excited to have the opportunity to bring my passion for healthy, veggie-centric meals and seasonal whole foods to restaurants in my community in Harlem and beyond.”
Having been a part of the plant-based media world for so long, we have a unique insight into the plant-based community, which is perfect for helping restaurants redesign their menus to reflect the current demand.
Preeta Sinha, the founder of One Green Planet, said, “One Green Planet’s goal is to be a catalyst for change for the restaurants and food services industry, who have the power to have a tremendous impact on human health and world sustainability.”

Through this collaboration, we have already helped one restaurant expand its menu to reflect the current demand for kinder food options. Dear Mama, located at Columbia University’s prestigious Jerome L. Greene Science Center in New York City, is now serving several plant-based items, including an apple and peach cobbler crumble, a chimichurri cauliflower steak, and tikka sling wings!
We are so excited to continue collaborating with other restaurants to show everyone how wonderful plant-based food can be!
Interested in using this service for your own restaurant? Contact Preeta Sinha by emailing preeta@onegreenplanet.org.
Reducing your meat intake and eating more plant-based foods is known to help with chronic inflammation, heart health, mental wellbeing, fitness goals, nutritional needs, allergies, gut health, and more! Dairy consumption also has been linked to many health problems, including acne, hormonal imbalance, cancer, prostate cancer and has many side effects.
For those of you interested in eating more plant-based, we highly recommend downloading the Food Monster App — with over 15,000 delicious recipes it is the largest plant-based recipe resource to help reduce your environmental footprint, save animals and get healthy! And, while you are at it, we encourage you to also learn about the environmental and health benefits of a plant-based diet.
