If you’re interested in eating amazing vegan food, New York City is one of the best places to be! With all of the amazing options, you’ll have little trouble finding innovative, delicious vegan food. The first time I visited the city, I was blown away by how many vegan options are available at regular restaurants, as well as how many strictly vegan places there are.

After eating my way through this city the past few years on a plant-based diet, here are 10 must-try vegan dishes in NYC:

This food truck is the crème-da-la-crème of to-go vegan sandwiches. Get your protein with their delicious maple mustard tempeh sandwich, which is served on grilled spelt bread with roasted garlic aioli, kale, tomato, and onion.
