Sad Video Shows Golden Retriever with Cancer Letting Human Know It’s Her Time

Golden Retriever

Losing a beloved animal companion is like losing a member of the family. A video of a Golden Retriever named Sadie letting her human know it’s her time to go has reduced the internet to tears. Sadie was diagnosed with inoperable cancer earlier this year.

The video, posted to the TikTok account @justinhinsley, shows Sadie snuggling with her human. The text overlay reads “woke up this morning & she told me it’s time.” The video then shows the Golden Retriever getting to try chocolate for the first time. She appears to enjoy it, munching and licking her lips while her human hugs her and kisses her on the head. Previous TikTok videos posted by Justin show Sadie getting to try other special treats such as sushi.
