She enjoys coming up with new plant based dishes, taking pictures of those dishes to put up on Instagram with a great filter and some pertinent hashtags and then eating those dishes. Yeah, she’s that person. She also likes to tell people she’s been drinking almond milk since before it was cool, has a small thrift store addiction and cannot pass up a garage sale. She lives with her two kids, two dogs and husband in the wild west. Read more about JJ Dolm Read More
People love their pets. They love them to the point that they want to give them the best and most luxurious accommodations that money can buy. For some, it’s a big fluffy doggy bed. For other–more nature-loving folks–it’s a mini, custom camper where their pup can curl up and dream of hitting the Holiday Road. So when Judson Beaumont’s daughter came to him with the request for a doghouse for her puppy, the owner of Straight Line Designs made something a camping aficionado would adore.
Creating four different styles, guardians of smaller dogs can now set their buddy up in a house made to look like a vintage camper. Retailing at $800 to start, the company will customize the camper to your specifications…right down to a personalized license plate. Have a larger dog or dislike the color combos? Don’t despair!
According to a company spokesperson, “Everything from the materials used, the size, style, color, and even the personalized license plates can be customized.”
The campers aren’t actually intended for outdoor use, so don’t set a bunch of them up in a circle around a tiny campfire in your yard for a neighborhood doggie campout. For the outdoor and pet enthusiast however, these can be a cute and kind of hilarious napping spot in your house for your furriest family member. Which just leaves that personalized license plate to decide on. We’re thinking either “ILV2NAP” or “MUTTS24-7.”
