Although this video is heart-warming and cute, we do not encourage our readers to feed wildlife. Feeding wildlife interferes with the balance between wildlife populations and their habitat and could lead them to be reliant on humans for survival, amongst other problems. If you find an animal in need, contact a local wildlife rehabber/rescuer or veterinarian ASAP, or call a rescue hotline. Here are some that might help!
Have you ever gone out for a walk in the woods and gotten an eerie feeling that you are being followed? With so many sounds and creatures running about, it can be easy to get a little spooked if you are not used to being out in nature. It is always important to be cautious, but most of the time something you might have thought to be scary turns out to be nothing to fear at all.
The man featured in this video might have been a little on edge when a wild fox first crossed his path while out walking, but the fox quickly proved to be a friendly, curious little guy. Foxes are usually a little wary of interacting with humans, however, that is not stopping this peppy fox from following his new human friend along his walk. He almost reminds us of our dogs, darting around and sniffing leaves, just having a great time.
This hiker might have gone into the woods alone, but he will leave it knowing he’s got a new fox friend.

The fox must have sensed a kind soul.
A lot of foxes have rabies, and if they come up to you, it is a good sign that they do. They also hang around roads hoping to get run over so that they won\’t suffer any more. They know that they are sick. This guy really took a chance. Check to see if there is foam around the mouth. If so, get the heck out of there. Report it to the police and they may go out to the road and see if they spot it. They will shoot it. Remember the movie, Old Yeller? Rabies is no joke.
Great comment
Stop feeding wild animals. Yes I love to see wildlife, enjoy wildlife. But to feed is the last thing I would do. This fox has come to know that people means food. So what happens when he bites some one looking for food. DEAD and for what your enjoyment.STOP
