Whether it’s your dog barking when he hears the doorbell or a parrot mimicking the sound of your voice, animals are very responsive to the sounds that surround them. Still, while most animals have good reasons behind why they bark, tweet, and meow, others just have no explanation. This cat, for example, makes odd quacking noises while falling fast asleep. The best part? He gets particularly quacky whenever his human coughs or sneezes.
Really, we have no answers as to why this could be. The cat’s guardian makes it clear in the video description that he is not yanking on his cats tail behind the scenes, and he also says that the cat responds the same way whenever he is asleep. Perhaps he is dreaming about chasing ducks … or maybe he’s just sick of purring. It’s just one big mystery of life that may be better left unsolved. We imagine he must be quite noisy when his human has a cold!
