Do you dread the winter weather? Rather than celebrating the first snow of the season, do you cringe knowing that there are more frigid temperatures and snow are headed your way? Well, if this is the case then we would not recommend you take a trip to Mount Javornik in eastern Slovenia anytime soon. But, if you love winter time as much as we do … then you will be thrilled to see the amazing natural snow sculptures found in this remote region of Europe!
Mount Javornik is part of a mountain range that reaches across Slovenia. The winter temperatures can get pretty extreme in this region, but it makes for some pretty unbelievable sights. After a long period of snow, ice and wind, photographer Marko Korosec made a trip up to the mountain and discovered a real-life frozen wonderland.
