Seven, the dog, wasn’t always homeless. Before he was taken to a kennel, Seven’s best friend was a little girl who loved to snuggle under some comfy blankets with him. He had a home and a happy life until, one day, his owners decided they no longer wanted Seven to be a part of their family. The family abandoned him at a kennel where he would live without the comfort of a forever family for eight years.
About two years ago, the Pacific Coast Dog Rescue swooped in to rescue the Pit Bull after his original shelter planned on putting him down. The rescue discovered that Seven would need regular medical attention for seizures. On top of that, most potential dog adopters look for puppies rather than elderly dogs – which leaves perfectly good dogs like Seven in a bit of a trench. Still, the dog rescue refused to give up on finding a forever home for the lovable pup.
And their persistence paid off! Seven finally got what he was looking for…a loving family of four who welcomed him into their home with open arms. The family is completely accepting of Seven’s disabilities, and they are more than happy to help the hound.
Congratulations, Seven, on finding a family that will love you forever!
Thank God for the rescue that saved him and May God Bless them and the new owners.I am so happy for him-pauletta
