Samuel L. Jackson recently revealed his secret for his new, slim physique – he’s embraced a vegan diet!
Yahoo reported that, when asked by a reporter what his secret was, the actor replied, “It’s a new vegan diet.”
“Is it for a particular role?” the reporter inquired.
“No. Just trying to live forever. Trying to finish out my Marvel deal.”
That deal is a nine-picture deal with the studio, including his role as Nick Fury in the 2008 film “Iron Man,” who has appeared in six other Marvel films. Jackson is almost finished with his nine-picture deal.
All hyperbolic jokes aside, Samuel L. Jackson has a good point about eating vegan to add years to his life. Maintaining a balanced, nutrient-rich, vegan diet is a great way to ward off disease, keep a healthy weight, and generally live longer.
The actor looks like he’s in great shape at age 65, proving just how powerful eating plants can be!

Sorry. I don\\\’t eat the food my food eats. If I do, it\\\’s right next to the food I eat. Overly cautious vegans don\\\’t have any longer a life expectancy than normal omnivores who eats three balanced meals a day and works out.
