The incredible members of Animal Aid Unlimited, India are at it again with another fantastic rescue. Animal Aid Unlimited works out of Udaipur, Rajasthan, and the group fights tirelessly to aid the massive population of homeless animals in the country.
A few members of the organization were passing through the streets and spotted a stray with a monstrous abscess, the size of a volleyball, on his neck. Without treatment, this pup would have most likely died. However, he was taken to the skilled medical team at Animal Aid Unlimited’s rescue center.
There, doctors carefully shaved his neck and drained the abscess. After surgery, they gave him treats and head scratches – an essential part of the medical procedure. Then, they named him Mango! He made a remarkably speedy recovery and was back on his feet in just 15 days.
While Mango is now footloose and frisky, there are many other homeless animals in dire need.
