Growing up isn’t always easy for a puppy. They have to learn how to play, cuddle, and sleep … well, maybe that last one comes a little more naturally than the others, but still growing up is hard. The rescued itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny Pit Bull puppy in this video is starting to a get a hang of this whole thing – just listen to him learn to howl for the first time! His cute, little whistle is probably one of the most precious sounds we’ve ever heard.
The puppy, named Tiny Tim, has a long way to go before he can run with the big boys, though, especially considering her was barely clinging to life when rescuers found him.
Tiny Tim was brought to Pit Bull San Diego Rescue in late December 2016 when a good samaritan heard a faint whimpering and saw some movement in the grass on the side of the road. With no mama or food to be found, the puppy had little chance of survival, luckily, this kind person scooped him up and rushed him to the shelter.
Starving, cold and in dire need of medical intervention, he spent the night at the hospital getting the care he needed. Tiny Tim is growing every day, but he still needs a lot of care before he can be adopted.
