Need a little cute fix to help you start or end your day? Check out this sweet little wolf pup hiccuping away! At just eight weeks old, wolf pup Nikai is the newest member of the Wolf Conservation Center’s Ambassador Pack in New York.

As the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) explains about this video: “Wolves can make a variety of vocalizations. They growl, whimper, whine, bark, huff, howl…although the wolf’s howl has been the inspiration for films, essays, poems, etc, we think there is another sound that evokes equal levels of emotion and excitement — a wolf pup’s hiccup.”

The WCC is doing some great things for wolves as a whole. Check out their mission and background to learn more: “The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), founded in 1999 by Hélène Grimaud, is a private, not-for-profit environmental education organization located in South Salem, NY. The WCC’s mission is to promote wolf Conservation by teaching about wolves, their relationship to the environment, and the human role in protecting their future.”

We applaud their efforts, because if it weren’t for orgs like the WCC, we’d have fewer opportunities to see the beauty of these wolves.
