Life for homeless animals is difficult, to say the least. Without a warm, safe home and humans to care of them, these animals are forced to fend for themselves. Finding clean water and food can be an enormous task for a homeless dog – but if you throw on the burden of also having to provide for a litter of puppies, things can get extremely difficult. Luckily for the stray pups of Los Angeles, the Hope for Paws rescue team is there to lend a hand!
In this video, we see Hope for Paws come to the rescue of a dog family who had taken up refuge in a steel yard. While there were certainly plenty of places to hide in the yard, this was not the safest place for a gaggle of curious pups to be living.
As soon as the awesome rescue team got eyes on the dogs, they set to work winning over their trust – first taking aim at what they assumed was the mother. In a few moments, they apprehended the presumed mama and soon captured the babies. It wasn’t until they get back to the rescue van that they realized the mother was actually the father! What an awesome dad!
