After three years of development and four consumer-led petitions, Quorn Foods is finally bringing their line of vegan products to supermarket shelves! The meat-free company has primarily catered to vegetarians but is now seeing there is major demand for clean, plant-based products that consumers can feel good about buying.
Whether it’s at a fast food chain, a fine restaurant, or the grocery store, consumers are becoming increasingly more curious about vegan cuisine. With the “vegan food tastes like cardboard” myth all but dead, consumers are leading the upswing towards plant-based foods with an open mind. With Quorn’s new yummy options, these products won’t be viewed as only “alternative” options for vegans and vegetarians at the table but as a treat for friends and family to give a whirl.
Quorn’s products, “Vegan Breaded Chik’n Cutlets,” “Vegan Spicy Chik’n Patties,” and “Vegan Chik’n Tenders” are now available in select Whole Foods. As more consumers begin to stray away from conventional protein sources and opt for cleaner, vegan choices like Quorn products, we’re certain the demand for plant-based alternatives will only rise.

I recently bought the veggie crumbs for a recipe and after getting home, I read the ingredients, milk was one of them. NOT vegan! :(
