Life for homeless dogs can be incredibly difficult. People generally are wary of these animals as they fear they might be aggressive or carry disease that could cause them harm. This is very true for larger homeless dogs – especially in the case of Pit Bulls. This particular type of dog carries the burden of years of false stigma and myths that they are naturally vicious animals, when actually, this stereotype comes from the fact that they are frequently abused and misused in illegal dogfighting rings. With this in mind, life for homeless Pit Bulls is exponentially more difficult as they struggle to find food, clean water, and shelter to survive.
Luckily, there are many kind people who refuse to accept this idea about Pitties and work tirelessly to give these pups every chance to have a good life. In this video, we see the rescue team from Hope for Paws doing just this.
After spotting Brutus, the Pit Bull, in an alleyway, the team set to work. Brutus is understandably skittish but all it took was a few treats and a calming call and he came right over! Once in the car, the team passes a graffiti wall that says “don’t worry, everything is going to be amazing” and with that, Brutus starts showering his rescuers with kisses! How’s that for a “menacing” Pit Bull?

Should be put down, Pit Bulls are not domesticated.
pit bulls aren\’t vicious…until they maul someone to death.
This story and video both prove that pitbulls are loving and forgiving animals. Brutus\’ reaction to the man and women in the car just prove they know who the people are if they are there to help them or hurt them. Pitbulls contain some of the biggest hearts in the animal kingdom. In my opinion Pits are the best type of dog in the world and because of my love and admiration for these beautiful dogs I myself own three of them and they are the best dogs I myself have ever owned. The people that rescue these dogs for a living rock and are the coolest people in my book keep doing what your doing making life easier for the hurt and misunderstood dogs.
