The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is reportedly reviewing a shocking proposal: a reality TV show where immigrants would compete for citizenship. Yes, their hopes for a better life turned into televised entertainment. This idea, pitched by Rob Worsoff—producer of Duck Dynasty—has allegedly received “positive feedback” from DHS officials.
This isn’t entertainment. It’s exploitation. Turning human lives, fears, and dreams into a game show mirrors dystopian fiction—only this is real. The proposal risks exposing contestants to public scrutiny, hateful rhetoric, and emotional trauma, just to crown one “winner.” Naturalization is not a prize to be earned through ratings.
Tell Secretary Kristi Noem: reject this degrading idea immediately. Citizenship should never be a game.
