Millions use tampons and pads each year—but shocking studies have found heavy metals like lead and arsenic, along with phthalates and PFAS, in these products. These toxins are linked to reproductive harm, hormonal disruption, and long-term disease. Yet, the FDA still allows this. There are zero federal safety standards regulating what goes into menstrual products.
This is a public health failure. Everyone deserves menstrual care that’s safe, non-toxic, and free from harmful chemicals—especially in such absorbent, intimate products.
The FDA must act immediately. Tell them to ban these dangerous substances from tampons and pads now. No more delay, no more exposure.
Sign the petition now to demand safer menstrual products. Sign now if you believe toxic-free periods should be a right, not a luxury. Sign now to push the FDA to finally regulate these products.
