Orphaned Kitten Was Covered in Fleas and Starving … but Won Over This Man’s Heart
When you come across an animal in need, it can be hard to resist stepping in to lend a hand. This is exactly what happened when some kind people came across a little kitten who was infested with fleas and near starvation. Without having to think twice, they knew they needed to intervene to help save this small life. The kitten was found on the streets of downtown Los Angeles. While it was not known how long he had been an orphan, it was clear that he would not survive without proper care and love.
Reddit user, Petrifiedkitten, was serendipitously looking to adopt a cat when his friends brought him this poor starving kitten to care for.
Seeing the sweet face of the little cat, Petrifiedkitten agreed to take him in and named him, Walker.
It took two baths to get all the fleas of the little kitten. After a nice bottle of kitten formula and a warm place to snuggle, Walker started to feel right at home.
Petrifiedkitten writes, “It was touch and go for a while (we weren’t sure he was gonna make it since he was so undernourished and fragile). But he pulled through with some help from a few friends with experience in saving stray cats, and a great vet.”
But thanks to all the love he received, Walker began to grow and became stronger every day. Just look at him now!
“This guy was delivered to me starved and covered in fleas a year and a half ago,” writes Petrifiedkitten, “Now he’s family.”

I would\’ve left it to fend for itself. I have an extreme hatred for kittens. I even hate it more when they follow me meowing & trying to hold onto my shoe. So I kick it as high & far as it will go. Yet it still returns trying to hang unto my shoe until I really get pissed & kick it again until it just sits there looking at me until it scampers off. As for wildlife & dogs, birds etc I\’m more than happy to help, just not adult cats & especially kittens they can starve for all i care.
God gave us mobility by giving us two feet. Be careful how you use your feet, you do not want your gift revoked.
Guest, I sincerely hope you are a troll, and not serious. Kicking a baby animal is cruel and disgusting, I hope you rot in hell! I don\’t care for reptiles but I would never harm one, or leave it in a bad situation. Have some respect for life you creep

4 all u cat lovers. News flash I\’m not the only one on the planet who hates felines. I retired from the medical field after more than 20yrs. I treated all my patients with LOVING care, gave them the RESPECT & DIGNITY they deserved. They were saddened to hear as well as my co workers when I left to care for my elderly parents whom I love dearly(THANK U VERY MUCH) & would never ever consider putting in a home. I value human life more than that of kittens, so if that makes me a TROLL "SO BE IT!!!!" But remember there are a lot of people out there who commit more heinous crimes against cats & kittens such as drowning, target practice or even worse setting them on fire(Crimes I would never ever consider doing).
