Best Friends Animal Society is an animal rescue with a simple mission statement: Save them all. Since 1984, they have worked to reduce the amount of healthy, adoptable animals being euthanized in shelters and have been successful in saving millions of lives – including the life of this shy little love bug named, Fiesta.
Being a nervous dog and a bully breed, she may easily have been overlooked in a loud, scary kill shelter. Due to the wrongful stereotypes that Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes are “inherently aggressive,” they are most likely to be euthanized in the U.S.
But luckily, the good people at the Best Friends Animal Society wouldn’t let that fate befall Fiesta and saved her life! Now, thanks to their love and attention, Fiesta finally has a chance to bloom!
As it turns out, this girl really loves to play dress up. Sometimes, for dogs with a high anxiety level, wearing clothes can make them feel more comfortable because wrapping their torso helps them feel secure and confident. Now that they know how much this pup loves Halloween, she will be wagging her way into a forever home in no time!
