Get ready to be outraged. We know that we are!
The man pictured here, who goes by the name Jacky Lo, thought it would be a good idea to “give a dog a bath” in the washing machine. Not only did he go through with his terrible idea, but he also posted pictures about it online, and joked about it being a “super quick way to bathe a doggy.”
In response to this horrible act of animal cruelty, an online petition was started to get the authorities to take action. The petition has already received 20,000 signatures.
In response to the pictures, another person asked if the dog died, to which Lo replied, “Yes (it’s dead). Do you wanna see?”
Lo is believed to be a Chinese national and has not been arrested yet. Under Hong Kong law, he could be sentenced to up to three years in prison, and fined a maximum of 25,000 dollars. It seems hardly enough for such a cruel murder of an innocent dog.
Lo, whose Mandarin name is Luo Jiamin, appears to have skipped town. His Facebook page has also been deactivated. He has shown no remorse for his actions.
Come on Green Monsters, help us get the word out. Help us bring this horrible person to justice. Don’t let the story fade into obscurity. Share this story to help keep the case open! This kind of injustice should not be allowed to go unpunished.
Click here to sign a petition to the Hong Kong police commissioner, and district officer of the RSCPA to ensure that the maximum penalty of three years jail time is considered in sentencing this depraved individual.
