Man and Dog Singing Parody of ‘American Boy’ into Doorbell Camera Goes Viral [Video]

A dog named Buddy and his human Mr. Wes went viral for a video that shows him holding the pup and singing a dog version of Estelle’s “American Boy,” on a doorbell camera.

The video shared on TikTok by @Jacksdoorbelljingles shows the man holding his dachshund in his arms and singing an adaptation of the classic song “American Boy” by Estelle. The lyrics talk about how the dachshund boy really wants to go to the park to see his mates.

“Take me for a walk I’d like to go someday. Take me to the park I want to see my mates. I really want to come sniff from you. You’ll be my dachshund boy.”

It turns out that Buddy and Mr. Wes have quite the collection of doorbell video parodies together including songs like “Dachshund Through the Snow” and “Santa Paws Is Coming to Town”.

Recently, another hilarious video of eight dogs on a bus after playing in the snow went viral for the recorder’s singing, which the dogs seem to be embarrassed about.

The viral video was posted on TikTok by @mo_mountain_mutts and shows a group of dogs patiently sitting on seats in a dog bus, while Lee, the business owner, makes a song up on the spot and sings to them. Lee captures all of the dog’s reactions to the song on camera and one dog’s reaction, in particular, is tickling users.
