Many children are a bit scared at the idea of going to sleep alone or waking up in the middle of the night from a bad dream. That’s why parents often lay in their bed, soothing them until the child is fast asleep. The kitten in this video is no different; a mama cat stays right by her baby and even makes sure she wakes up safe and sound – in the most adorable way!

Watch as the adult cat caresses the little snoozing kitten, named Big Pie. But the most adorable part is when the kitten wakes up and the big cat cuddles and licks her. Aww! These two are so precious.

We wonder if the big cat is even the birth mother of this kitten or if these two have just formed a tight friendship like cats will do? Either way, this video is super adorable.
