@oreothedogbiscuit I made my dog’s bed wrong. She likes her blankie to be folded neatly in half, thank you! In winter, we try to fold it so we can wrap her up warm but sometimes she won’t have it. #dogsoftiktok #labrador #ocd #fyp ♬ original sound - Oreo the Dog
A video featuring Oreo, a 2-year-old Labrador with a unique preference for how her bed should be made, has captured the hearts of millions on TikTok. Shared by @oreothedogbiscuit, the clip has amassed 1.1 million views since June 10.
In the video, Oreo’s human, Ashleigh McIntyre from Newcastle, Australia, humorously tests her dog’s “OCD” tendencies by purposely making the bed incorrectly. As the video shows, Oreo prefers her blanket folded neatly in half before settling in.
McIntyre explained that Oreo developed this preference over time, and while she jokes about OCD, she emphasizes that Oreo’s behavior is a form of communication rather than a clinical disorder. Oreo’s particular habits extend beyond her bedtime routine. She communicates her needs effectively, whether it’s nudging a window open in the car or signaling when it’s dinnertime. McIntyre is now teaching Oreo to use buttons to express herself even more clearly.
