Rescuing animals is one of the most rewarding things that a person can do. Not only are you saving a life when you take in a needy animal, but you also get the added perk of all the love and cuddles that come with caring for them. Who wouldn’t love that!
When Imgur user Crunkthatlemon heard about three abandoned kittens living in a coworkers garage, she was happy to give these two-week-old babies whatever help they needed. The poor kittens were filthy and covered in urine; their little eyes were barely open when she took them into her home. Taking care of three kittens is no easy work, but the payback is pure love.
Cats don’t usually like water, but these guys seemed to be doing pretty well after their first bath. All clean at last!
At two weeks, they were way too young to be away from their mother, so she had to bottle feed all three of them every few hours.
Look how tiny they are!
When you’re this small, there is safety in numbers. Look how they stick together while they explore their new home!
Teamwork is the name of the game!
All of this excitement has worn these little kitty’s out!
This looks like a great place to sleep!
Soon, they were starting to get a little bit bigger.
All of this growing is hard work!
Soon, they were old enough to find their furever homes. It is always bittersweet to see them go, but knowing that they have found such great families feels awesome.
Luckily, these two live close enough that she can still visit them. They are always so happy to see her!
As much as we hear about people hurting animals, this story is proof that people are also out there helping animals, every day. By rescuing animals, we also rescue a part of ourselves. If you would like to provide a foster home to kittens in need, pay a visit to your local animal shelter and sign up. Fostering is a great way to add love to your home, and it saves lives!
