Pet homelessness is a major problem in the U.S. and around the world. With current estimates stating that there are over 70 million stray animals in the U.S., and countless more in other countries, it’s clear that this is an issue that merits our concern and attention. While these actions definitely help on a larger scale, you can also choose not to turn a blind eye when you see a stray dog on the street. Some people may think that helping out a stray dog is too much of a burden or could be dangerous, but a little positive intervening from a human can be the difference between life and death. Take the video above, where a stray dog seems scared and unable to get water for himself. This kind woman passing by decided to stop and help the little one out with some water, which the pup laps up happily.
