We really can’t believe this! A video taken on Snapchat shows alcohol being forced down the throats of two small alligators kept as pets. In another clip, the reptile is being picked up by their tail and then a burning cigarette shoved into their mouth. This is not okay.
A source tells FOX 29 that the video was taken in the basement of a home in Bustleton, Pennslyvania where one of the men lives. Horrifically, the two males in the video can be heard laugh at the innocent animals suffering. “How are me and my friends not internet famous yet?” one of the men is heard muttering in the video. Well, because hurting animals is not cool!
Thankfully, a Snapchat user was shocked at the footage and brought it to the attention of authorities. The incident is now under investigation by the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. We hope the men are found and animal abuse charges are brought against them. It’s also uncertain how the two alligators came into the men’s possession, but it’s safe to say that alligators shouldn’t be kept as pets.
It is not enough to expect that people will “know better,” it is up to every one of us to take a stand for animals and give them a voice. We can stop animal cruelty by raising awareness and working to end the harmful belief that animals exist for our use. Since they had alcohol and cigarettes then they must be adults and therefore should be prosecuted as such. Perhaps someone should run a background check on their parents, especially the police officer who should have taught his son better. People who are cruel with animals don\’t stop there.
MUST TAKE THESE GREAT ANIMALS FROM THESE ABUSERS NOW. HELL AWAITS SHIT LIVES LIKE THIS TO ABUSE ANIMALS NOW.
There is a great need in the state of Pennsylvania to identify these cruel idiots and put them in jail.
