No one can ever know the suffering this sweet boy has been through but thank goodness for the kindness of people like Mr. Soni. This kind man lives in a village nearby the rescue Guardians of the Voiceless and made the life-saving phone call about a dog named Taru.
Mr. Soni reported that Taru was laying hopeless in an empty lot with a very large would covering half his face. Poor Taru was giving up but Guardians of the Voiceless was already on the way to bring back hope for this innocent boy. Mr. Soni was able to tie the pup up so that he would still be there when help arrived. When rescuers arrived Taru was comforted, wrapped in a warm blanket, and carried to a dry location to further investigate and treat his wounds. For the first time in a long time, Taru was being cared for!
Taru’s condition was pretty intense. The poor boy’s facial wound was infested with maggots and he was understandably confused, exhausted, and in pain but things were slowly taking a turn in the right direction. His wound was cleaned and bandaged, he was given fluids, and even painkillers to help him feel better. Guardians of the Voiceless will continue to care for him and provide medical treatment as long as needed.
Mr. Soni offered to keep Taru safe and warm inside his house! It seems, despite the rough life Taru has been through, kind-hearted people like Mr. Soni aren’t too far behind.
