When you see the end of this video compared to the beginning you’ll be grinning from ear to ear. There’s nothing like seeing an animal go from pain and suffering to a hopeful wag, almost like a little flag of happiness! The dog is this video is named Sheena and she lives on the campus of Punjabi University in India. When one of the guards at the university noticed Sheena was having trouble walking, he made the life-saving call to Guardians of the Voiceless.
Once rescuers arrived on the scene, Sheena was not having it! According to her rescuers, she was shaking continuously, disoriented, and very scared, hiding behind some bushes to get away. Eventually, rescuers were able to get Sheena to a vet for a diagnosis. At the hospital, the vet discovered Sheena was suffering from a blood infection and she was immediately put on medication, antibiotics, and an IV for her slight dehydration.
Sheena looks so much better by the end of the video and has some great people looking after her including the guards at Punjabi University. Guardians of the Voiceless will continue to care and visit Sheena until she makes a full recovery from her infection. Let’s all wish sweet Sheena a quick and smooth recovery!
