Cows don’t get nearly as much attention as they should. Most people think of them as nothing more than unintelligent, awkward, bulky milk machines that don’t measure up to a dog or cat. But this couldn’t be further from the truth.

In reality, cows are quirky, quick-witted animals that each have their own unique personality. In fact, some research suggests that cows even have best friends in their herd!

This video shows an interesting example of cows‘ curiosity and instincts. When the cows hear a new stimuli – singing – they approach with great excitement – but they still huddle together to ward off predators. The cows might not be afraid that the singing girl poses a threat to them, but they still take precautions. Better safe than sorry, right?

Cows really are amazing animals. If only we could all see them for the inquisitive, sweet animals they are, perhaps they wouldn’t be subject to such cruel fates in factory farms. Share this video and help others change the way they think of cows – you never know who will find this moo-ving (yup, we had to).
