This guy was enjoying a walk in the beautiful Spring weather in Korea when he noticed some Salamander eggs floating inside a creek.

After doing some research online and confirming that they were salamander eggs, he realized that the egg stacks were stranded in different locations around the creek. After carefully moving them back into the water, he went on his way. The kind passerby returned a week later to find that most of the babies had hatched! Every week he comes back to visit the newly hatched salamanders and always brings snacks. “They’re growing so fast. Their back legs are popping out,” he said.
If you find a salamander, simply leave it alone, admire it by observation, and do not capture it. It does not need your help, says Save the Salamanders. One exception to this is when moving salamanders off of busy paths or roads where they are likely to be killed, they add. If you encounter a breeding pool of salamanders, it’s best to admire them from the shore as well. Not only can entering their pool disrupt them, but it can potentially destroy their home, and they can be accidentally stepped on.
