Cats are naturally curious animals who can get themselves into the darndest things! The problem is, they aren’t always able to get out of them. Kittens, especially, have a knack for getting themselves into some real doozies, which is exactly what happened to this little kitten in the UK last week. The kitten, who has since been named Dusty, was found by local trash collectors during their rounds with her head stuck the drainage hole of a dumpster.
Although it was unclear how Dusty came to find herself in this awkward predicament, how to get her out of it was even more unclear. It took the combined efforts of the UK’s RSPCA and local Firefighters to finally rescue the kitten, who was amazingly unharmed in the process.
Dusty is currently in the care of a local vet, where she is getting everything that she needs to find her forever home. We hope this little one gets adopted soon and that her days in a dumpster are long behind her!
