A family of dogs who were was once struggling to survive in the desert are now being fostered and given the chance to live their lives in a loving home. If you are thinking about adopting a new friend, maybe one of these rescued pups will peek your interest.
The rescue began when Hope for Paws received a call about the family of dogs, so several volunteers rushed over to the site to check out the scene. One of the dogs had given birth beneath a broken down shack. An extremely kind neighbor had heard the puppies crying that day, and he crawled under the small space in the shack to save all nine of them! Even though the neighbor who initially found the puppies did not have enough food to feed himself, he gave what he had to feed the struggling dog family.
Now, the dogs are in the care of a foster home and Hope for Paws is actively searching for new and loving homes for the three dogs and nine puppies. To adopt any of these family members, you can email their foster mother, Lisa Ashe at ashefarm@yahoo.com.
