Recently, the Animal Aid team came to the rescue of a baby donkey who had such a severe head wound that her bone was exposed. The wound had become dangerously infected and infested with maggots, and if left untreated for just another day or two, she would have likely perished at the side of her loving mother. Thankfully, this did not happen, and after much-needed medical treatment and TLC, this sweet donkey is unrecognizable and thriving!
