“Death comes for us all,” may be true, but it’s still hard to accept. We all have a different way of dealing with death and mourning. Some people are somber and wear black for a certain amount of time. Others celebrate, making a funeral a gathering of family and friends who reflect on knowing the deceased. In the latter instance, the deceased’s transition is looked at as a happy occasion because they’ve lived a full life and are going to somewhere better. But, no matter how someone’s death is treated, there is no question that someone will miss them.
In this video, a grieving dog in Brazil waits patiently outside of a hospital for her 82 year old guardian, Vergilia. Unfortunately, the pup doesn’t know that her mom won’t be coming out because she’s passed away. The deceased’s family looks on, helpless about what to do about the dog’s anxiety. Fortunately, many people want to adopt her. In the mean time, family members are making sure she gets plenty of food and love. Loyal to the end, whoever gets this canine friend will be lucky.
