This Dog Was in Pain for Hours, But She Didn’t Stop Wagging Her Tail Once When Rescuers Showed Up (VIDEO)

Mika was a sad sight to see when the rescuers at Guardians of the Voiceless first found her. After receiving a call from some concerned folks, the Guardians rushed off to find one terribly injured dog. Mika, the dog in question, was injured early in the morning and waited patiently for her rescuers to arrive. To ensure that she wouldn’t wander off, folks nearby tied her to a spot.

Mika, as one of the many voiceless that the Guardians seek to protect, was a lucky one… one in pain who would eventually receive help. Despite the monumental pain she felt, Mika wagged her tail the entire time her rescuers worked on her wounded front leg and broken bag leg.

Immediately, upon arrival, they gave her painkillers. The locals who watched her, and apparently also kept her fed, were relieved to hear that Mika was saved. Now, she’s in the Guardians hands where she will have time to heal and be in peace.

A dog who may never have had a chance is no safe and cared for thanks to Guardians of the Voiceless and some concerned people who found compassion within themselves to at least do something. If we all chip in a little bit, none of us have to take the world on our shoulders… but if we stand by and do nothing, then few people have to do everything. Sometimes the difference between life and death for an animal is whether or not people look away. What kind of person will you be today?
