“Up, up and away, in my beautiful balloon” is a line from a song by the classic group The Fifth Dimension. The song signifies that the ultimate happiness is to float high in the air, carried by a wonderfully adorned balloon.
While there is undoubtedly a sense of calm and beauty that can be achieved by flying in a hot air ballon, some of us prefer to keep our feet firmly planted on solid ground. This doesn’t mean that us terrestrial bound folk can’t partake in the simple joys of life, however. Just take Rose the Boston Terrier in this video, for example.
For Rose, hitting the balloon into the air and not letting it touch the ground is pure joy. Her skills are so good, she could easily be playing for the world’s best volleyball team! She certainly looks like she wants to go up, up and away with this balloon – but we bet she’s a little relieved when her four paws come back to ground again.
