The Guardians of the Voiceless never stop fighting for animals. Every day they’re out there rescuing animals who would die without them. This is Jaku the dog’s story and it’s one of great pain and suffering.
The Guardians received a call about a wounded dog lying helplessly on the side of a busy road. They were busy that day but the caller indicated that the dog seemed to be barely alive. They sprung into action and rushed to help.
When they arrived, the dog indeed appeared to be a few short steps away from death’s door. Jaku was dehydrated, wounded, malnourished, and barely breathing. His body had little fight left in it after suffering for who even knows how long.
They gave him fluids as quickly as they could and got to work treating him. They brought him back with them, intent on doing absolutely everything they could to save his life.
The Guardians are happy to report that Jaku is now walking and eating on his even. He’s still very nervous and occasionally tries to attack the Guardians, but they love him anyways because at the very least he’s fighting for his life again.
