A homeless man initially found the stray dog after he had been struck by a car, then took refuge under his cart. LA on Cloud 9, an organization that helps homeless people and their pets, asked Hope for Paws for assistance with the injured pup.
Jackson sure does look happy when volunteers show up to give him food and check him out. It is a good thing they showed up seeing as they later learned the dog had a broken pelvis.
