3. Angry Bobcat Rescued from Car Grille in Wisconsin

On a dark night in Wisconsin, a driver faced an unexpected and harrowing situation when they struck an animal crossing the road. The driver, traveling south of Plover near U.S. Interstate 39, discovered that the animal they hit was not only alive but also trapped in the car’s grille. Upon realizing the severity of the situation, they immediately called for help. Deputies from the Portage County Sheriff’s Office, led by Sheriff Mike Lukas, responded to the scene.

In his latest bid to tackle the climate crisis, President Biden announced a pledge of $500 million to Brazil’s efforts to end deforestation in the Amazon rainforest. The announcement came during a virtual meeting with leaders of the Major Economies Forum on Energy and Climate, where the President called on other countries to increase their efforts to fight global warming. The United States aims to limit Global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius by scaling up clean energy technologies and reducing carbon emissions by 50 to 52 percent by 2030.
