Cat Adopted by New Family Who Bought Her House

An estimated 3.2 million cats enter animal shelters each year. Sadly, not every cat is adopted. Estimates from the ASPCA show that over 530,000 cats are euthanized each year. Others may endure long and stressful shelter stays as they wait for their forever families. Fortunately, one cat was able to stay out of the shelter thanks to the kind actions of the humans who bought her home.

Pronounced (ka-thew-loo) When we moved in, the old owners gave us a choice of letting the cat stay and roam the property or they could capture her and take her to the humane society since they were moving to a smaller place in town. We didn’t want to add to the large number of pets waiting for their forever home so we said she could stay. She is very friendly towards us. Riley grew up with cats for the first few years of his life, so we arent concerned for when they finally meet but Sasha has limited cat experience so it’s going to take some time. #cathulhu #newcat #kitty #dogsoftiktok #doglover #farmcat #doggo #dogcontent #hiddengems #funnyvideos #pitbullsoftiktok #dogoftheday #gooddogs #pibblelove #adoptdontshop #dontbullymybreed #bullybreed #rescuedogs #silly #dogs #pitbulls #fyp

When the humans behind the TikTok account @thepamperedpitties bought a new house, the home’s old owners gave them the option of also inheriting the cat that roamed the property. If they did not want her, they would capture her and take her to a local shelter. The new owners of the property did not want the friendly cat to languish in a shelter, so they chose to adopt her along with their new home!

In a video posted to TikTok, the two pit bulls named Riley and Sascha can be seen enjoying their new yard as the cat watches from a tree. So far, the animals appear to be getting along well. Riley has previously lived with cats. Sascha has not lived with a cat before, so the humans are taking introductions slowly. Viewers of the video were happy to see that the cat would not have to search for a new home. “You guys are so awesome” read one comment.
